The Housing Desk Wageningen has closed its doors from 1 September 2023. What are the alternatives?

The Housing Desk Wageningen allowed owners and landlords, and students and employees of the university, to exchange offers. This service has been discontinued. What are the alternatives?

Students can join the Facebook group Wageningen Room Sublets. This is the only group that is actively moderated and free of scammers and spammers. So it is a safe environment to look for or offer a room. Please note that this is peer-to-peer exchange of student rooms, i.e. for and by students. The working language is English and there are no ‘Dutch-only’ offers, so there is a level playing field for everyone.

Are you a private house owner in Wageningen or Ede who would like to offer a temporary room? Then just send an email. Wageningen Student Housing is a purely informative website and does not mediate in housing. But we may be able to match you with someone looking for housing or a mediator in the short-stay segment. If you want to rent for a longer period, it’s best to offer on a rental platform or Marktplaats.
